Stan Sauerwein, CPA (ssauerwein@orspc.com)
Stan is one of the founding partners of Olson, Reyes & Sauerwein. He is a 1979 graduate of Ball State University and has practiced in Denver, since 1980. Stan’s concentration is audit and accounting and consulting, with a specialization on the manufacturing, retail, real estate and professional service industries.
Scott Olson, CPA (solson@orspc.com)
Scott is one of the founding partners of Olson, Reyes & Sauerwein. He is a 1979 graduate of Luther College and has practiced in Denver since 1981. Scott’s concentration is in business and financial advice, income tax planning and preparation, and IRS representation and negotiation.
Jeffery Reyes, CPA (jreyes@orspc.com)
Jeff is a partner with over 19 years of experience in providing tax advisory and compliance services to business and individuals. He has experience with clients in various industries which include financial services, manufacturing, real estate and construction contractors. Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Colorado Christian University. He is a member of the American Institute of Accountants and Colorado Society of CPAs.
Garrin Sauerwein, CPA (gsauerwein@orspc.com)
Garrin is a partner and graduate of Colorado State University. He has been in public practice since 2007 when he joined the firm co-founded by his father, Stan Sauerwein. Garrin has experience in taxation, financial reporting and auditing.
Richard Taylor, CPA (rtaylor@orspc.com)
Richard is a partner and a graduate of the University of Colorado. He has over 10 years of public accounting experience serving individuals and a wide range of small businesses on various taxation, attestation, and planning issues.
Zach Olson, EA (zolson@orspc.com)
Zach is a partner and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University. He has been in public practice since 2011 when he joined the firm co-founded by his father, Scott Olson. Zach has experience in taxation, financial reporting and auditing.
Derek Watada, CPA ( dwatada@orspc.com)
Derek is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado and began his career in public accounting in 2006 providing audit, assurance and consulting services to small to mid size companies primarily in the Denver Metro area. He has spent his career helping clients across a wide array of industries, including construction, manufacturing, retail, not-for-profit (including single audits) and employee benefit plans. He spent most of his career working with a Top 20 National firm and a Top 20 local firm and specialized primarily in construction and not for profit accounting and benefit plan audits. He joined Olson, Reyes and Sauerwein in 2020 bringing his wealth of knowledge working with small to mid-size companies to spearhead our audit and attestation practice.
Darrin Foster, CMA, CVA (dfoster@orspc.com)
Darrin graduated from Iowa State University with a BBA, Finance. Darrin has started and ran several successful small businesses over the last 20 years and now leads the small business and management consulting services for the firm.
Brandon Book
Brandon graduated from Fort Lewis College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2018. Brandon joined the team in 2018.
Mike Schwanbeck (mschwanbeck@orspc.com
Mike graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth and began his career in public accounting in 2015. Mike has experience with helping small businesses and individuals with taxation, financial reporting, and operational accounting.
Zach Pietrocarlo
Zach holds a Master of Accountancy from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT. Zach began his career with a Big 4 Firm where he specialized in the Global Mobility Tax and Management Consulting Services practice groups and assisted a wide range of clients handle international tax issues. Prior to joining the team in 2019, Zach worked for a regional firm and focused on individual taxes and accounting for small businesses.
Ellie Mayer
Ellie is the Assistant to Jeff Reyes, joining the team in 2014. She is the person to contact for Jeff’s clients requesting copies of files, meetings and all other general inquires. Ellie is a Notary Public and studied Graphic Design, Communications & Media Studies at the University of Northern Colorado.
Barbara McMillan
Barbara is the Assistant to Stan Sauerwein, joining the firm in 2009. Barbara is a Notary Public and has experience with Payroll, HR, Benefits and general accounting.
